Duct smoke detectors mount in either the supply or return air ducting. When smoke is detected the Duct Smoke detector shuts off the blower on the furnace and sounds the audible alarm. Shutting down the blower prevents smoke from being distributed by the heating system to bedrooms where family members may be sleeping. The PRO Series Duct Smoke Detector does not replace the home smoke detector but is an added line of home and personal protection. Add this inexpensive, life saving tool to every HVAC system.

• Shuts down the furnace/air handler blower when smoke is detected preventing smoke distribution to other parts of the house such as bedrooms where family members may be sleeping.
• PRO 2 & 3 kits include an audible horn indicator to warn family members of the present danger.
